Zemfira is preparing to give a concert in the Kazakh city of Konayev, which will take place on July 6 at the ASP Arena

Zemfira is known for her rebellious spirit and ability to break pop music stereotypes, mixing different genres and expressing the thoughts of young people from all over the world. Her style is simplicity: she prefers jeans, natural hairstyles and minimalist makeup. Her songs do not have standard pop cliches. When she sings about love, it is always with elements of drama and self-sacrifice, as in the famous song "Want?" Although Zemfira's lyrics are filled with strength, they rarely reflect her personal story. She has already become an integral part of the history of Russian rock and roll, and this is no coincidence. According to legend, before her triumph, Zemfira contacted various record companies with a warning that they would regret not recording her songs, because she is their future. The singer told this story in an interview before she left Russia and moved abroad.

Zemfira's last studio album was released in 2021, when she was still living in Russia. With each new album, the intervals between releases increase: the previous disc, "Live in Your Head," was released in 2013, and before that there were "Thank You" (2007) and "Vendetta" (2005). Despite the long breaks between albums, individual hits sometimes appear. After moving to France, Zemfira, together with her nephew, released the album "Zemfira from Luka," which explores the themes of loneliness, fears, and separation in the modern world.

The album "Borderline" is named by analogy with the term for borderline personality disorder, and its cover was created by the talented Georgian designer Demna Gvasalia. Each composition in this collection has its own unique story. For example, the song "Kamon" was very difficult for the singer because of the complexity of writing the verses. And the track "Coat", which became Zemfira's favorite, was written while she was in the hospital. The album was created over a year during the pandemic and reflects different periods of the singer's life. It is distinguished by a variety of musical instruments and complex bass parts.

At the concert in "ASP Arena", fans will be able to enjoy both Zemfira's classic hits and new compositions from the latest albums "Borderline" and "Zemfira from Luka".
