On July 6, Zemfira will perform on the stage of the ASP Arena in the Kazakh city of Konayev
Zemfira was born in Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan. As a child, she was as passionate about sports as she was about music, and even served as captain of the women's volleyball team. However, music still prevailed. After receiving a musical education and leaving her hometown, Zemfira began collaborating with Ilya Lagutenko from the group "Mumiy Troll". This collaboration led to the release of her first album, which brought her wide popularity.
Her songs are distinguished by a shift in emphasis and unexpected vocal introductions, creating an effect of spontaneity and live communication. Despite her closeness to the public through her songs, Zemfira remains a rather withdrawn person: she rarely gives interviews and prefers a narrow circle of friends. She is characterized by abrupt changes in sound: from a quiet whisper to powerful emotional outbursts, from minimalistic introductions to rich instrumental compositions. This is especially noticeable in her penultimate album, Borderline, dedicated to themes of borderline personality disorder (BPD), which was recorded in Russia.
Zemfira has released only one mini-album abroad - Zemfira from Luka, created together with her nephew. This album raises themes of loneliness and finding oneself in the modern world of contrasts and fears. The nephew was responsible for the instrumental part and production. In April 2024, the singer announced a new album called Colette through social networks. This disc will be the ninth studio album of the performer.
Last fall, Zemfira gave concerts at large venues in Belgrade, London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and other European cities. This year promises to be no less significant for her and her fans, so it is worth taking care of tickets for the concert in Kazakhstan in advance, so as not to miss the chance to see the performance of your favorite artist.
