The singer performed in Kazakhstan many years ago, and now it's time to return, but with a new solo concert program. Much water has flowed under the bridge since then - Zemfira left Russia, moved to France, and managed to release two new albums. One of them is "Borderline" and "Zemfira from Luka". The first was written when the artist was still in her homeland, and the songs in it are quite diverse - from frankly depressive to instilling hope in listeners that even in the darkest times there are opportunities to find something to stay in this world for. But "Zemfira from Luka" was created abroad, in collaboration with Zemfira Ramazanova's nephew, Luka. The tracks of the new collection tell about breakups and loneliness, fears of modern realities, and the choice that each of us makes every day.
The path to success of a simple girl from Ufa turned out to be dizzying. Any artist from the provinces can only dream of this! The future star made her television debut at the age of five, when she sang the song "Once upon a time there lived a worm, a lazy worm." It didn't bring her much fame, but it was already clear that she definitely had talent. Then Zemfira entered a music school to hone her vocal skills. There she was chosen as a soloist of the choir, noting her strong voice.
At school, in the early nineties, Zemfira became the captain of the Russian women's junior basketball team, where she played as a point guard (number one). In sports, she also had every chance to reach great heights, but music was the singer's true calling, and basketball was left in the past, while songs became the present and the future. Zemfira herself has admitted more than once that she forgets about everything in the world when she creates and performs. The main thing for her is work. That is why even after leaving Russia, her talent remained with her, it saves even in the most difficult moments, gives strength to live and create. And the artist does not sit idle, she often goes on tour around the world, collecting huge halls and full stadiums.
After graduating with honors from the Ufa College of Music, Zemfira sang in Ufa restaurants accompanied by a saxophonist in order to somehow earn a living, and at the same time she was already writing her own lyrics, which in the future would become hits known throughout Russia and the CIS countries.
Only in 1998 the singer came to Moscow, her cassette fell into the hands of the permanent soloist of the then very popular group "Mumiy Troll" Ilya Lagutenko. He was just looking for fresh talents and bright voices within his new project, and when he heard Zemfira singing, he was enchanted.
Zemfira and Ilya Lagutenko go to London, where at Beethoven Street Studios, the home studio of the Mumiy Troll group, her debut album is mixed, the disc is released in sixty million official copies, and in the morning Zemfira literally wakes up famous. From now on, her fame, like the army of her fans, will only grow.
